Our Story
Blossom Day School was created from a simple vision: to provide a small, nurturing early learning environment where children can truly thrive and enjoy their childhood.
Founded by a busy mom, teacher, and wife, Blossom was designed to feel different from large childcare centers. We believe that young children learn best through exploration, nature, creativity, and meaningful relationships, which is why our program emphasizes small class sizes, outdoor discovery, and hands-on learning.
Our goal is to create a space where children can grow with confidence, develop curiosity about the world, and build a strong foundation for future learning.
At Blossom Day School, every child is encouraged to grow, explore, and blossom.
Founder/Director
Baylee holds a degree in education with a specialization in Early Childhood through Sixth Grade. With over 15 years of experience working with young children, she felt a strong calling to create the kind of school she had always envisioned for her own child and for the students she worked with throughout her years in public education.
Baylee dreamed of a learning environment where children are given the opportunity to nurture their natural curiosity, move freely, and explore the world around them through meaningful, hands-on experiences. She believed early childhood should be filled with discovery, creativity, and a deep connection to nature.
As the Founder and Director of Blossom Day School, Baylee oversees the daily operations of the program while ensuring that the school maintains a safe, nurturing, and high-quality learning environment for every child. She works closely with teachers and families, supports curriculum development, and ensures that all programs meet state licensing standards and educational best practices. Baylee is deeply committed to building a thoughtful learning community where children feel confident, supported, and inspired to explore the world around them.
Assistant Director/Lead Teacher
Lindsey holds a degree in education with a specialization in Early Childhood through Sixth Grade and brings over 10 years of experience in both early childhood and elementary education. She is passionate about creating meaningful learning experiences that encourage curiosity, creativity, and exploration.
As an artist, Lindsey loves incorporating art into the classroom, giving children opportunities to experiment with materials, express their creativity, and explore new ideas through hands-on experiences. She believes that art and exploration play an important role in helping children build confidence, develop problem-solving skills, and discover their unique interests.
As Lead Teacher, Lindsey works closely with students each day to create a supportive classroom environment where children feel encouraged to explore, ask questions, and grow at their own pace. She thoughtfully guides learning through creative projects, outdoor exploration, and engaging activities that spark imagination and curiosity.
Lindsey also supports the overall operation of Blossom Day School by assisting with program coordination and helping ensure that the school maintains a warm, organized, and nurturing environment for both children and families.
Administrator
Mary brings over 30 years of experience supporting families and children through a variety of administrative and childcare roles. Her extensive background allows her to help keep daily operations running smoothly while ensuring that families feel welcomed and supported.
Mary believes that childhood should be preserved by giving children opportunities to play, explore, and discover the world around them. She enjoys being part of an environment where children can naturally develop their skills and confidence when given the right opportunities and encouragement.
At Blossom Day School, Mary plays an important role behind the scenes, helping create a warm, organized, and supportive community for both families and staff.
